Gerge3an Run 2025 in its 2nd edition

The Second Annual Gerge3an Run: Embracing Tradition, Athletics, and Community Spirit!

As the spiritual nights of Ramadan approached and the pleasant weather returned to Wadi Webair, we were thrilled to host the second edition of the Ramadan Gerge3an Run on March 20, 2025!

Following the success of our inaugural event, this year’s celebration once again blended the joy of sport with cherished traditions — fostering community engagement and encouraging an active lifestyle during the holy month.

The festivities featured three different race categories to ensure there was something for everyone:

• Family Fun Walk/Run – 1KM: A delightful route for all ages and fitness levels, perfect for families to enjoy the spirit of the event together.

• Youth Race – 1 Mile: Young athletes took to the course with excitement! At the halfway point, children were greeted with festive treats, adding a joyful touch to the race. Every participant was celebrated with a medal at the finish line, while the top three boys and girls received special awards for their performance.

• Adults Race – 5KM: Adult participants embraced the event with energy and enthusiasm. All runners received commemorative medals, with the top three men and women recognized for their athletic achievements.

The event area buzzed with excitement throughout the evening! Families and friends gathered to enjoy engaging board games and card games, adding to the festive spirit. Traditional music filled the air, creating a joyful and nostalgic ambiance.
