About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
Manage, support, and train junior team members in project management
functions.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and
budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation
strategies.
Communicate project status, updates, and any issues to stakeholders.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Obtain and manage necessary permits and approvals for events.
Continuously evaluate project outcomes and implement improvements.
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
PMP or similar certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the events or sports industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
A passion for sports and endurance sports, in particular, is a plus.
Willingness to travel for events and work non-traditional hours during events.
